The WHo, What, & Why
In a partnership between the Crawford County Historical Society, Roberta-Crawford Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Roberta, we come together as a community to celebrate the craftmanship and history of Southern Folk Pottery both past and present; where the pottery clay was formed and mined right here in Crawford County.
The Georgia Jug Festival brings vendors and artisans together for a family friendly event with a Pottery Sale, a Pottery Auction, 5K & Fun Run, Craft Demonstrations, Food, Music, and other entertainment.
Preservation
Seeking to preserve the heritage and history for future generations and to foster a sense of community for the next generations to come and to educate newcomers into the county about the rich heritage located here in Crawford County.
Architecture
Helping to raise money to continued care and maintenance of our historical buildings in Knoxville and Roberta.
